A huge mistake parents make these days when it comes to
potty training for boys and girls is waiting too long to start. Many parents tell me that
they're waiting for their child to show signs of readiness before
they begin. There are parents who are saying this while they wait to start toilet training a 4 year old. Some parents will also wait for that moment before potty training 5 year old children.
They really think their child is not mature enough to know how to potty train. I personally believe that most kids are ready by
the age of two years old.
If you wait longer then two years old you run into the
problem that the child becomes set in his or her way. They become
comfortable in their diaper or pull-up.
Your child does not need to know how to talk well to be
potty trained. Baby talk works just as well.
I often get parents who say that the age of child holds them back. They are waiting for the
child to be "older" so they can be potty trained for day and night at the
same time. You DON'T have to wait for your child be be older to have
him/her fully potty trained in only 3 days.
Mothers often ask me about infant potty training -- and guess what? Children as young as 18 months can be potty trained fully with my potty
training technique! There is no such thing as your child being too young or too old. Now you can understand that this method of potty training for boys or girls will work on your child including these ages:
potty training 1 year old
potty training 2 year old
potty training 3 year old
potty training 4 year old
potty training 5 year old
